“I am running to represent Bend in the Oregon House because I want our community to be a place where everyone can thrive, not just a wealthy few. I’m focused on supporting young people and working families, investing in education at every level, and protecting Bend’s quality of life. I want to encourage creative thinking about how we tackle our biggest challenges, like building an economy that works for everyone and addressing the housing crisis.” — Gena Goodman-Campbell
Schools and Education
Gena knows that a quality education is the key to economic opportunity and an investment in our community’s future. She’ll fight for school funding to improve high school graduation rates and address the rising cost of college.
Jobs and the Economy
Gena believes we need an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. She will fight for policies that ensure that every Oregonian who works hard can get ahead, not just get by.
Gena will work to address the housing crisis so that every family in Bend can afford a place to live in our community. And she’ll stand up for small businesses that form the backbone of our local economy.
Protecting Oregon's Legacy
Bend’s quality of life and recreational economy are key to our success. That’s why Gena brought together a diverse coalition of supporters – including more than 200 local business owners, to protect the Badlands Wilderness. In Salem, Gena will continue to fight for what helps Bend thrive.
